Cyanotypes
Cyanotype (definition): a blue-tone print prepared in a fashion similar to the Kallitype. The cyanotype is an iron-based image while the Kallitype is a silver-based image. Both techniques involve careful processing to an archival state. The several hours required to produce each image followed by a one-week period of slowly drying each print results in the deep, rich tones achieved.
